there can't be any words for how you will proceed, only feelings.

"You're right when you say you can't look far enough in either direction to figure out how to act right now. Neither of those directions actually exists. You're also right about time making fools out of everybody, and that's why. Right now is the only time that you do have. You want to act, that is to say make a movement in your life, which is difficult to do when you are stopping to overanalyze anything. You know that, and you just said it. The way that you can move from moment to moment gracefully that you can stop and plan out beforehand is not a graceful way to move from moment to moment, because you can't stop and be moving at the same time. One instant at a time is the only time you are going to be experiencing, and there can't be any words for how you will proceed, only feelings."


Sometimes it's harder to get a person to hear their own words than it is to get them to hear yours.
